The 2nd Workshop of the Coordination Platform for Sustainable Management of RA’s Natural Fodder Areas Took Place

On July 17, 2018, the 2 nd workshop of the Coordination Platform for Sustainable Management of RA’s Natural Fodder Areas took place in the office of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ). The aim of the workshop was to sign a Memorandum of understanding between Strategic Development Agency (SDA) NGO, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), Environmental programme and CARMAC II project financed by World Bank Group and implemented by the Agricultural Development Fund (ADF) on the establishment of a Coordination Platform for Sustainable Management of RA’s Natural Fodder Areas (pastures and grasslands). During the workshop it was highlighted that other stakeholders will have an opportunity to join the Platform. The Platform’s work plan for 2018 was also presented and discussed during the workshop.

In addition to the three partner organizations mentioned above, representatives of the RA Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and Ministry of Environment, as well as state, international, public and scientific institutions operating in the sector attended the workshop.
